Subtitles are the new norm for the younger generation, in a recent study Stagetext found that young people are almost four times more likely than older viewers to watch TV shows with subtitles.
2. Finding Purpose at work
According to a new survey by GoodHire, there is one demographic that is finding more fulfilment and meaning in their jobs than any other, however, they are also most likely to quit.
3. Office trainers 👟
Shoeaholics, part of the Kurt Geiger group have unveiled that trainers are now the work shoe of choice in the office but can you guess how much the average persons “trainer wardrobe” is worth?
4. We love the hybrid model of work
Post-pandemic it has been reported that UK employees are in favour of the hybrid model of work across industries. Genius Consultants recent survey showed that employees believe it benefits their productivity and has an overall positive impact.
5. Christmas Tipple
A survey conducted by OnePoll on behalf of Ritual Zero Proof, reveals the number of people who dread Christmas family gatherings and the percentage of people that think their family drink too much.
6. Take us back
Five years on from the Brexit referendum and nearly two years after leaving the bloc, most Britons would vote to rejoin the EU if a plebiscite were held, according to a new survey carried out by Savanta ComRes.
7. 1 in 9 women have been spiked
Exclusive research by YouGov carried out for The Independent, has revealed 11 per cent of women say they have been spiked in the past and nearly half do not think the police would take it seriously if reported.
