Good afternoon, I hope you are enjoying your weekend!

1. The Perfect Job

This week One Poll conducted a survey on behalf of Raja Workplace to find out what makes the perfect job.

A 26-hour week, a pleasant view from the office window and a 17-minute commute are all on the tick-list.

The survey also unveiled the holiday allowance, salary, environment, and duvet days needed to achieve the Perfect Job.

Now to figure out how to subtly hint the requirements to our employers 👀 .

2. Regretting your pandemic purchases?

The latest How We Live Report from Aviva has reported that 9 out of 10 now have buyers remorse for their lockdown purchases.

The top items included hot tubs, air-fryers, exercise equipment, and even houses.

So don’t worry if like me your once used air fryer is guilt-tripping you from the kitchen counter, we had good intentions!

3. The Last Generation of binge drinkers?

The Charity We Are With You have found that Gen Z (those born after 1997) drink 20 percent less per capita than Millennials (aged between 25 and 40) did at their age.

Millennials in turn drink around six percent less than Gen X (born between 1965 and 1980).

From becoming fashionable to health trends Julia Llewellyn Smith explains the reasons why Gen X seems to be the last generation of binge drinkers. As a millennial with a Gen Z sister and a Gen X Mother, I can provide proof of the findings.

4. Drunk Aussies

The Global Drug Survey has revealed the drunkest country in the world, and Australia has claimed the top spot.

The international survey has found that Australians drank to the point of drunkenness an average of 27 times a year, almost double the global average.

The UK along with Ireland and France also managed to make the Top 10.

5. Those who can, teach

A survey conducted by education charity Teach First has found that teaching was considered as one of the most respected professions in the UK.

Almost half of those surveyed also agreed that teachers aren’t given enough credit for the work they do.

After the difficulties teachers have faced over the past two years it is no wonder teaching is one of the UK’s most respected professions.

6. Gravy Guzzlers

Frankie & Benny’s have revealed that a quarter of Brits drink gravy from the jug.

They also made the surprising discovery that 1 in 5 would prefer a pizza or a burger over a traditional Christmas Dinner.

Much too many of you (in my opinion) are unwrapping pigs in blanket and an excessive amount of people are covering your Christmas lunch in hot sauce?! Bon Appétit I guess?

7. Xmas Exercise?

For most, Christmas day is the only time that it is acceptable to start drinking bucks fizz at 7 am and fall asleep on the sofa after too much turkey.

However, Wiggle’s latest social media poll has shown that 47% of their followers will be on a Christmas run and 26% of them a bike ride whilst us mere-mortals might just be able to drag ourselves on a frosty dog walk.
